Biography: Kristin L. Quirk, has been an associate attorney at Whitbeck Cisneros McElroy, PC since 2012. Her practice focuses on family law, civil litigation, education law, and mental health law. She regularly practices in several jurisdictions in the Northern Virginia area including Loudoun County, Fairfax County, and Clarke County.
Prior to working at this office, Ms. Quirk practiced law for several years in the areas of employment law, traditional labor law, insurance law and election law in New Jersey and New York. Her prior employment includes working at a Fortune 500 Insurance Company in New York City, NY. Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Quirk worked as a merchandiser for a top New York fashion designer.
Ms. Quirk graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania. While a student at Penn State, Ms. Quirk worked at both inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities providing services to adults and children for young children.
As a mother of Children with Individual Education Programs, Ms. Quirk has been involved in the IEP process – negotiating, drafting, and attending IEP meetings for the past 8 years. Ms. Quirk currently lives in Ashburn, VA with her three children.
