Jennifer Cisneros‘ practice focuses on family law, criminal law, estate planning and civil litigation. She regularly practices in Loudoun County, Fredrick County, Fairfax County, Clarke County, Warren County and the City of Winchester.
Ms. Cisneros came to the practice of law after a successful career in finance. She worked as an options trader on the Chicago Board of Trade from 1985 until 1993. She then relocated to Connecticut and worked as a financial analyst, developing financial models for investment banks in New York City and Chicago. Following the birth of her second child, she enrolled in law school at Brooklyn Law School before transferring to American University, Washington College of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and a participant in the 2003 Mediation Moot Court Competition. Ms. Cisneros graduated from law school with honors.
Ms. Cisneros moved to Northern Virginia in 2001, and has become active in the community, serving as director on various charitable boards, including the Loudoun Literacy Council, which teaches illiterate adults and children how to read to improve their lives. Ms. Cisneros also is currently serving as secretary for the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, and is an annual participant and mentor in the Loudoun County Leadership in the Law Camp for local high school students. Ms. Cisneros is a strong advocate for victims of domestic violence and frequently represents such victims in Virginia courts.
Ms. Cisneros currently lives in Western Loudoun County with her husband and three sons.
