Biography


Margaret M. Adkins is an associate at the firm.  Her practice focuses on family law, criminal law and mental health law in which she serves as an attorney for mental commitment hearings.  Ms. Adkins was born in Silver City, New Mexico.  She graduated with a B.A. in English from New Mexico State University.  As a student she was an editor of the University’s newspaper.  Ms. Adkins attended law school at George Mason University School of Law.

While at George Mason she participated in the Domestic Relations Clinic where she represented indigent clients in legal matters relating to divorce.  She also participated in the Law and Mental Illness Clinic where she represented clients in civil commitment hearings.  After law school, Ms. Adkins joined our firm.  Ms. Adkins currently lives in Vienna, Virginia.
